Outreach
You don’t have to be a scientist to
protect the water you love.
We’ll
show you how.
Junior Ambassador Program Applications ARE OPEN!
Now open for South Florida high school students.
What We Do
We engage residents, schools, and community groups to raise awareness and inspire action—empowering people to protect South Florida’s water, ecosystems, and coastal communities for the future.
- Translate science into everyday decisions: We break down complex water issues—like bacteria levels, pollution sources, and flooding—so you can understand what’s happening and what to do next.
- Train community leaders: From students to longtime residents, we provide tools to speak up, report pollution, and advocate for solutions.
- Create hands-on experiences: Whether you’re testing water, restoring habitats, or exploring the Bay, our programs connect you directly to the ecosystems you’re helping protect.
