Miami Waterkeeper’s Dr. Rachel Silverstein says this disturbing trend is unprecedented. North, South, Southwest and Central Florida are all under heat warnings through 7 o’clock tonight. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90’s, but with the humidity, it’ll feel like it’s 114-degrees or hotter. The extreme heat can lead to fish and coral reef kills along with flooding, fires and drought. Stay indoors and hydrated as much as possible.
