Join Miami Waterkeeper in welcoming our new office manager, Carla Lovinsky! Carla joined our team in November 2018, and we’re very excited to be working with her!

Carla was born and raised in Miami. She received her bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Carla comes to us from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science where she worked for fourteen years in Advancement/Development.

Working at RSMAS really made her aware of our environment and the vulnerable species in the ocean and that we as people have a responsibility to protect our natural resources. She encourages her family to recycle and educates them and her friends on the importance of our waterways and to always be on the lookout for possible pollution.

Welcome Carla!
